What Irish President Michael D Higgins thinks of Tea Party politics

Well, we are nearly there for this years American Presidential election in November. One wonders are the Republican party on a suicide mission with the malign influence of the Tea Party. Clinging to god, guns and a fascination with the female anatomy that a room full gynecologists and midwives wouldn’t show.

President Michael D Higgins was never known to be a shrinking violet during his time in the Labour Party. At full flow his admirers and detractors will tell you he is something to behold.

Elected as President of Ireland in 2011 here’s what Michael D Higgins thinks of the Tea Party politics in an interview with controversial right wing American radio show host and Tea party supporter Michael Graham on Newstalk in 2010.
